By downloading, installing, or using Terminowo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Terminowo is a mobile application that allows you to scan documents using your device's camera, extract expiry dates through optical character recognition (OCR), and receive reminder notifications before those dates. The App stores all data locally on your device.
The App does not require a user account or sign-in. All functionality is available without authentication. OCR processing requests are authenticated via a server-side API key and do not involve any user credentials.
The App uses automated optical character recognition to extract dates from scanned documents. While we strive for accuracy, OCR results are provided on an "as-is" basis and may contain errors. You should always verify extracted dates against the original document. The App is intended as a convenience tool and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for critical deadlines.
The App schedules reminder notifications locally on your device. Delivery of notifications depends on your device settings, operating system, and battery optimization policies. We do not guarantee that notifications will be delivered at the exact scheduled time or at all. You should not rely solely on the App's reminders for time-sensitive obligations.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how data is handled. All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your documents or personal information on any server.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from missed deadlines or inaccurate OCR results, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.
The App integrates with Google Document AI for OCR processing. This service is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of this third-party service.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, which also deletes all locally stored data. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
